From: Police State USA: Land of the Checkpoints
PEORIA, IL -- Armed men in combat fatigues patrol the residential sidewalks of Peoria. This photograph was taken on April 23, 2013 around 8:00 AM.
It is unclear who these men are, but we know two things. Regular citizens would be imprisoned for bearing arms in Illinois. And the public continues to be acclimated to the sight of soldiers patrolling the streets of the homeland.
What exactly are they training for?

One guess is that these men are ROTC members from Bradley University. But why would ROTC members be armed and in public?
Another guess is that they were part of a Dept. of Defense drill taking place in Tinley Park, IL, on the same day. But Tinley Park is more than 2 hours away from Peoria.
