In Hana on the island of Maui, a gallon of regular costs $6.03, more than $2 above the national average. Among the cheapest places was a convenience store in Casper, Wyo., where regular was selling for $3.36 a gallon.
If you're fed up with high gasoline prices, you might want to avoid the roads less traveled.
