Media ignores story of economic terrorism ( VIDEO )

The media has failed to report on the breaking story of a blueprint of economic terrorism laid out Stephen Lerner, a former leader at SEIU. Nevertheless, Congressman Jason Chaffetz has responded to the plan.

Glenn read his letter to Eric Holder on radio this morning:

To the honorable Eric H. Holder, Jr., attorney general, Department of Justice

Dear Attorney General Holder, recent media reports suggesting that the former director of the Service Employees International Union, SEIU, banking and finance campaign has threatened to seriously endanger the welfare of the United States.

In a forum at Pace University earlier this month, Stephen Lerner, the former SEIU official, revealed a secret plan, quoting, to cause, quoting, a new financial crisis, still quoting, destroy J.P. Morgan, and weaken Wall Street’s grip on power, end quote by, quoting, using civil disobedience, to create the conditions necessary for redistribution of wealth and a change in government, end quote.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, defines terrorism as the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population or any segment thereof in furtherance of political or social objectives. The escalation of Mr. Lerner’s threats would clearly constitute domestic terrorism and pose substantial harm to the American people and the economy. I am therefore requesting that you investigate Mr. Lerner’s terrorist plans and notify me how the Department of Justice plans to respond to these threats.

The committee on oversight and government reform is the principle oversight committee of the House of Representatives and may at any time investigate any matter as set forth in House Rule 10.

The attachment to this letter provides additional information about responding to the committee’s request. Any questions, call me at this number.

Thanks for your matter, Jason Chaffetz

“I got a call from, or an e‑mail from somebody, a friend of mine in Idaho that said he gave it to one of the members on the banking and finance committee as well and they are looking into it. I will tell you that citizen journalism is a very dangerous thing. It is a very good thing and it will in the end I believe save the country,” Glenn said.

“You cannot play the games and discredit yourself. You must be honest in all of your business dealings. You must be honest,” Glenn warned of dishonest citizen journalism.

Glenn said that since the media is not doing their job, you must make your congressman and senator aware of this story. “ You can find it at TheBlaze.com. There are updates there. And you can find it at Business Insider as well. They covered it and they covered it really well,” Glenn said of the few sites that were covering the story.
