Crew illness diverts jet to O'Hare

US Airways flight No. 658 destined from San Francisco to Philadelphia made an unscheduled landing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport Saturday when two flight attendants started complaining of illness, said airline spokeswoman Michelle Mohr.
“It landed without incident,” said Mohr. “The captain decided to make an emergency landing in an abundance of caution."

Because a stand-by alert had been called, Chicago Fire Department personnel were on the scene when the plane landed, said Larry Langford, Fire Department spokesman. Both flight attendants were treated on the scene and signed releases, opting not to go to the hospital.

Passengers were being directed to alternate flights Saturday night, Mohr said.
